Raised in Chugiak, Alaska, Alisha Louise was surrounded by unparalleled natural beauty and a community who valued self-exploration through nature.

Alisha’s love of travel and early beginnings have had a lasting impact on her work. Throughout her travels in Europe, Latin America and the Lower 48 she was exposed to amazing native landscapes as well as innovative local design work and techniques. Meeting jewelry designers from Iceland, Italy and Mexico inspired her color palette and unique handcraftsmanship, resulting in a subtly feminine and decidedly modern style. Alisha’s recent lines focus on graphic silhouettes of romantic Art Deco and Nouveau patterns in a spectrum of gorgeous colors.

Alisha began working with metal and enamel in 2000 at Seattle’s Pratt Fine Arts Center. Soon after, she was assisting local jewelers and honing her skills on production work while working towards the goal of launching her own line. Alishalouise.com was launched in August 2005 and my pieces have been featured in Bust Magazine, Teen Vogue, Daily Candy, Chicago Magazine, Lucky Magazine, Indie Fixx and Mighty Goods.
