At the end of the World War II, designer Serge Bensimon’s grand-father started a business in importing American second hand clothes in France. In 1980, his two grandchildren, Serge and Yves, decided to follow this tradition and founded the brand Bensimon. Traveling through the world, they brought back uniforms and work clothes that they customized with a personal touch.

In 1984 the first Bensimon Collection, a line for men and women inspired from military and the travel was introduced. Colorful, casual and elegant, glamorous and functional, the Bensimon safari jacket, the Jodhpur and Zip pullover were all introduced.

Symbolic of this success story, the sneaker La Tennis Bensimon with its variety of colors was immediately adopted by the fashion community and naturally became a “must have”. This iconic French sneaker has been an everyday way of life for more than 25 years. Bensimon’s style touches all generations.

Timeless but modern, a large part of the collection is made of simple basics which are comfortable and are available in a wide range of colors. The Bensimon style is colorful and bright. It is an emotion generating fashion.
