We've got some pretty exciting news about the woman who inspired MADE Jewelry's Miss Universe Earrings. Ruby Veridiano - a writer, speaker, arts educator, and VJ - has just been announced as a candidate for head blogger of Alicia Keys' women's empowerment campaign, "I Am A Superwoman."

With all her many roles, Veridiano is clearly qualified for the job. "My entire career as a writer and an artist has been devoted to representing a strong female voice that could inspire and uplift women," she says. It was tons of fun styling the male and female models at the fitting a couple of weeks ago, and of course the MAV Foundation's credo falls in line with our philanthropic interests: ALL proceeds from the show go to benefit lymphoma and leukemia research.

The MADE designers, Debbie Sheen and Abigail Rivamonte, are two busy women balancing their jewelry making in between life and their legal and philanthropic careers.
