Gizmodo Moxsie Peasants and Travelers Orange Leather Envelope Bag Vers isn't the only MOXSIE brand getting a little shine from Gizmodo. On Monday, the tech blog behemoth warned its readers, "Careful! Don't accidentally mail your iPad in this bag." They're talking, of course, about the Peasants and Travelers Orange Leather Envelope Bag. Just so happens it perfectly houses the Apple iPad, and so does its younger brother, the Oversized Envelope Bag in brown.

FYI, in case you're hesitant man still unsure about toting a shoulder bag, satchels and man purses are perfectly acceptable, even more validated nowadays. How else do you expect to get into Alan's wolf pack?

Coming up on the Gizmodo listening tip are the new magically suspended Urbanears Medis earbuds.

Not quite a headphone, which sits on top of your ear, and not quite an earbud which burrows into your canal, these Medis 'phones clip onto your ear in a way you would never guess... Click hear to see the magic!

We've just added them to MOXSIE after they got a solid response on MOXSIE FIRST, so now you can pre-order a pair without any time restrictions.

Peasants and Travelers Doctors without Borders Artists without Boundaries

It’s good to know that Moxsie designers are doing good and helping people around the world. Our very own Peasants and Travelers is teaming up with Swiss-born artist and producer Romanowski in hosting a silent auction where 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Doctors without Borders.

The 17 P&T bags up for auction are custom-made by San Francisco-based artists like Ben Collison, David Choong Lee, and Gonz One. Doctors Without Borders is an organization that delivers emergency aid to people who lack resources to healthcare. With increasing conflict in countries around the world, these San Francisco designers and artists are using their creativity and skills in a meaningful way to give back to those who need help the most.

Come join Artists Without Boundaries for Doctors Without Borders:

Saturday June 12, 2010 from 6 to 11 p.m.
Wonderland SF Gallery & Boutique
2929 24th St, San Francisco, CA 94110

If you can’t attend the event, you can always shop P&T bags here at Moxsie!

May 5, 2010 12:49:51 AM

Peasants and Travelers Moxsie Street EatsThis Friday we're excited to be hosting the Magic Curry Kart and Creme Brulee Cart again at Moxsie Street Eats. One of our local designers, Jee Kim of Peasants and Travelers, caught wind of our weekly food fest and loves the idea of food so much (Though, really, who doesn't?), she's giving away one of P&T's bags from their upcoming Urbane Village collection!

The Oversized Envelope Bag with Tan Leather Flap isn't even available on our site yet, so you could be the very first person to sport it! It's actually perfectly suited for stowing away the elusive Apple iPad, so hey, if you're lucky enough to have one, bring it on Friday and you could walk away with a new carrying case.

Rules for the giveaway will be announced the day of, so make sure you're following us on Twitter and Facebook!

Moxsie Men's Forecast for 2010

Jan 30, 2010 12:35:30 AM

Men's Fashion Week wrapped up a couple of weeks ago, and in the meantime we've finally gotten a chance to catch up on the top men's style bloggers. (Steady blog reading takes work, people!) With our powers combined, we present: Moxsie's Men's Forecast for 2010! (You can always revisit our take on Women's style for 2010 here.)

WORKING HARD, HARDLY WORKINGWhile it's key that you have the basics - well-fitted shirt, slacks, and jacket - we're going to see men's style shift more toward looser, business casual. Leisure moves in on otherwise formal territory with basic colors but more ready-to-wear pieces.

WELL EQUIPPED | Accessories are often overlooked when it comes to men's style editorial, but maybe that's because they make the mistake of thinking you already have the key essentials. Another misconception is that in order to be a well-dressed man, you have to focus on the clothes. Not true. It's just as much about what fills your pockets and how you carry your goods as it is about how your threads hang on your body.

POLISHED STREET  | There are many variations to the concept of polished street style, but what it comes down to is the details in your wares. A polished, street style-savvy man is not averse to surprise embellishments, but he is mindful that they be subtle deviations from the norm.

Hot Air Chateau Flight Twill JacketThe kindly folks at 7x7's Glamwatch rounded up their best suggestions for what to get the guys in your life - and Hot Air's on the list!

When your guy needs an affordable outerwear piece that will work all year, the Chateau Flight Twill Jacket by Hot Air at Moxsie doubles as a heavy shirt or light jacket and offers plenty of pockets for stowing wallets, iPods and other must-haves.

That jacket's seen its share of media attention ever since Memphis Grizzly OJ Mayo sported it in a recent photo shoot. Read all of "Boy Oh Boy: Gifts for Guys" on 7x7.com.

Peasants and Travelers Olive ToteRight after we spotted Peasants and Travelers at Chillin Productions, The New York Times picked up on Jee Kim's amazing bags. In "Men with Baggage, of the Stylish Sort," The Perfectionist columnist Guy Trebay commented on P&T's "mysterious high-tech fabric." Check out the Olive Tote Trebay tried out in Moxsie's handbags.

Moxsie Peasants and Travelers Jee Kim Orange Leather Envelope BagWe spotted Jee Kim, designer of Peasants and Travelers, upstairs at Chillin Productions showing off her impeccably crafted pieces. Mayka asked Kim to show off her favorite P&T piece, the Orange Leather Envelope Bag. It reminds Mac nerd Mayka of the manila envelope sleeves that came out immediately following the release of the MacBook Air. If you've got a document-loving lawyer friend in your life, this could make a great gift!
