Dustie Smith was born in Anaheim, California and grew up in Huntington Beach. From an early age her dream started with a “Sew Perfect”. Dustie was then inspired to create Apparel Design at the age of 12, after viewing the movie ‘Pretty In Pink’.

As divine will would have it, she was handed down a vintage Singer sewing machine that same year, which fueled her passion and creativity. She has won a handful of awards for her designs such as “Most Salable Items”, “Best All around Fashion Design”, and other various awards. Dustie has been designing in the fashion industry for over 7 years. After much encouragement from her close friends and family, she took a leap of faith and started her own company.

She received the nickname DustieDoll many years ago by her husband who has marked it on his left shoulder with a tattoo. She currently resides in Orange County, California with her loving husband and her amazing 12 year old son.
