Eco-fashion entrant Andira Rain Tees has understood the market call for fashionable eco-clothing and built a successful brand around guiltless fashion. Founder and designer Beth Doane started the company after working in fashion distribution and import, but was always passionate about animal rights and environmental issues. Co-designer for the Rain Tee project, Bethany Armstrong generously donated her time and expertise to the collection after meeting Beth Doane on a flight to New York City.

Every one of their printed tees benefits the environment by supporting the repopulation of rainforests with trees, one-to-one with every purchase, as well as drawing attention to rainforest issues through their creative prints.

The company is named “Andira” after a tall tree that grows throughout the rain forests of South America, which indigenous people have used for medicinal properties, but is facing extinction due to deforestation. Andira creates and distributes products that are produced fairly and donates a percentage of proceeds to organizations that urgently need funding. Every Andira collection is made using fair labor practices and an eco-conscious production process.
