While reminiscing about his happy childhood in Greenland, Eik Braun Ottosen first imagined his wondrously carefree, brightly colored line of winter boots. Presumably, there were no sulking, broody hipsters or starving fashion mavens in those good old days, because Eik’s vivid, springing RubberJoggers are dedicated to creating the world’s most positive brand. Anyone could be forgiven for dismissing Eik’s idealism- stores initially refused to carry the unconventional prototypes. Consumers, however, clamored for them, and in Greenland hundreds sold out in a matter of days. Hardcore style-bibles like UK Vogue, have recently caved into Rubber Duck’s infectiously fun spin on winter footwear.
