Take into consideration whether it is a winter boot with furry lining or a thinly lined summer shoe. For the winter boot the furry lining will take up some space in the shoe – and you might furthermore wear the boot with thick woolen socks. On the contrary, the thin lining in the summer shoe won’t take up any space and you’ll probably wear thin or no sock at all.
If one foot is longer than the other, choose your size to fit the longer foot. You can pad the smaller foot with a thin insole.
