Founder Anton Brandt, a Laguna Beach, CA native, was living in Shanghai when he adopted the local footwear. Followers of the brand appreciate the brand’s commitment to the people, with a percentage of profits going to The Starfish Project, a humanitarian organization in Cambodia that provides medical aid and housing to the needy.
