Warrior Footwear, LLC began conceptually when two American students were interning in Shanghai in the fall of 2008. Sported by construction workers and laborers throughout the city streets, these basic, lightweight sneakers seemed the shoe of the masses. Despite the ubiquity, the sneakers hold an iconic appeal.

Originally developed in 1935 as a sporting shoe, Warriors intended to provide the public cheap access to athletics. At the time, without the industry presence of international footwear brands, Warrior dominated the Chinese market and became a lifestyle piece in its own right. Warrior was the shoe in China from the 70’s to 90’s. Everyone had a pair at home - - farmers, athletes, laborers, political leaders, and everyone in between. However, as China opened up to Western markets— accepting US mega-brands -- Warriors’ status was relegated to that of the de facto shoe for laborers and elderly citizens.

Warrior Footwear comes to the US ready to leave as strong an impression as it has left overseas. With an understated design and clean lines, Warrior Footwear compliments any wardrobe. Each and every shoe is unique, just like the people who wear them. The shoes are not specific to males or females, so anyone can enjoy any pair.
